My general hatha classes can be slow and gentle but also quite strong and deep. My gentle yoga classes are more suitable for basic body maintenance, mobility, relaxation and self-care.
Generally speaking, while yoga is suitable for everyone there are many different styles and types of classes available worldwide. Some are slow and gentle. Others are fast, strong and dynamic. When choosing which class to attend there are a few things worth taking into account, including: your body awareness, physical ability, yoga experience, mobility, injuries etc. It’s also important to identify your reasons for wanting to practice yoga in the first place, as this may indicate which class is most suitable for you. Is it your desire to relax and take it easy or are you looking to challenge yourself?
Please note that Yoga Meon is not a yoga studio, so in normal circumstances, classes are organised in various different studios or premises, mainly in County Sligo. Therefore, due to circumstances beyond our control, classes may from time to time be subject to changes to schedule or location. Thankfully this does not happen very often.
