This is a day long course to cultivate self care. As is my experience, in these busy times it is more important than ever to factor in time for personal self care. The rough outline for this day is as follows:
After meet and greet, we will take some time, through guided meditation to become present and centered, then tend to the breath. The breath is a very powerful tool to alleviate stress and tension within the body and mind. From here we will move into the morning yoga asana practice which will be approx 1 hour long. This will be a flowing practice to gently open up the body with emphasis on moving with the breath. We will be a break for lunch at around 12.30pm.
After lunch there will be a period of guided meditation and self inquiry. Then we will take a closer look at self care, discuss what it means to you and explore some self care techniques. We will end the day with restorative yoga to leave you feeling relaxed, grounded and ready to return to your daily life.
